Dr. Nitish Shetty

Dr. Nitish Shetty is currently serving as the Group Chief Executive Officer of Aster DM Healthcare's India business, where he is responsible for overseeing the company's overall operations and leading its growth in the country. With over 23 years of experience in strategic planning and management, Dr. Shetty possesses an impressive track record of establishing and commissioning several healthcare projects across India.

Before joining Aster DM Healthcare, Dr. Shetty held leadership positions at reputable healthcare companies such as BGS Global Hospital and Narayana Hrudayalaya. During his tenure at Aster, he has been instrumental in establishing numerous healthcare projects, including Aster CMI Hospital, Aster RV Hospital, Aster Whitefield Hospital, and Aster clinics in Bangalore.

Dr. Shetty earned an M.D. in Hospital Administration from Kasturba Medical College and Hospital, Manipal, Karnataka, and has received various awards and recognition for his outstanding contributions to the healthcare industry.

In addition to his current role as CEO, Dr. Shetty has also served as the Regional Director of Aster Hospitals for Karnataka and Maharashtra cluster, as well as the Director of Aster Labs. His expertise in human resource management functions and strategic planning has played a pivotal role in the successful establishment and growth of Aster DM Healthcare's India business.
