Dr. Chaitra Akkannappa is a Senior Healthcare Professional at Aster Medical Imaging with over 12 years of experience in Quality, Accreditation, and Healthcare operations. She is currently spearheading quality and operational excellence with the aim to excel in quality healthcare services by Aster Medical Imaging based on STEEEP principles: safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable, and patient-centered that is tailored to the needs and values of individuals.
Prior to joining Aster Medical Imaging, Dr. Chaitra worked with Aster RV Hospital in Bangalore and Rangadore Memorial Hospital in Bangalore, guiding both facilities through NABH accreditation, surveillance, and reaccreditation. She has been active in healthcare quality for more than twelve years. She also participated in the Clinical Excellence initiative and provided Aster RV Hospital with niche healthcare services, including management of epilepsy, stroke, and cochlear implants.
