Job Description

- Apply knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, and English language rules to the transcription and proofreading of medical dictation from originators with various accents, dialects, and dictation styles
- Recognize, interpret, and evaluate inconsistencies, discrepancies, and inaccuracies in medical dictation, and appropriately edit, revise, and clarify them without altering the meaning of the dictation or changing the dictator's style
- Prepare medical reports, ultrasound, x-ray reports, CT Scan reports, MRI Reports
- Flag reports requiring the attention of the supervisor or dictator
- Use reference materials appropriately and efficiently to facilitate the accuracy, clarity, and completeness of reports
- Meet quality and productivity standards and deadlines established
- Format reports according to established guidelines
- Decide upon information to be included in the report
- Return dictated reports in printed or electronic form for physicians' review, signature, and corrections, and for inclusion in patients' medical records
- Transcribe and interpret dictation by physicians and other healthcare providers in order to document patient care
- Use reference materials appropriately and efficiently to facilitate the accuracy, clarity, and completeness of reports
- Type letters, other correspondence and special reports as requested

• Maintaining, managing, and troubleshooting of the PACS system
• Providing technical IT & PACS support
• Training end-users
• Install, configure, and administer the connection of modalities in the existing network.
• Install & configure reporting workstation.
• Responsible for the administration of user profiles
• Managing the update, upgrade & implementation
• Collaborate with the IT infrastructure team to communicate storage and compute needs for the PACS application.
• Coordination with Infra team for issues and requirement
• Managing tickets and issue tracker
• Support during new initiatives, project or implementation
• Vendor coordination for PACS & Modality integration or issues.
• Vendor coordination for Hardware issues.
• Knowledge on Hardware
• Knowledge on VPN and basic network connectivity
• Knowledge on PACS
• Knowledge on database and HL7
• Knowledge on Microsoft office application like MS office, Teams etc.

- Perform CT and MRI imaging procedures on patients following established protocols and safety guidelines.
- Operate and maintain CT and MRI equipment, ensuring optimal image quality and equipment functionality.
- Prepare patients for procedures, explain the process, and address any questions or concerns.
- Monitor patients during procedures to ensure their safety and comfort.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure proper image acquisition and positioning.
- Review images for quality, making adjustments as necessary before transmitting them to remote radiologists.
- Utilize teleradiology systems and secure networks to transmit images for interpretation.
- Maintain accurate records of patient information, imaging procedures, and transmission details.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards for radiologic imaging and patient care.
- Participate in quality assurance activities, including equipment maintenance, calibration, and quality control testing.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in CT and MRI technology and techniques.
